Your privacy is important to us at Olivers Army. We are committed to
safeguarding your privacy online and have a responsibility to keep your personal
details confidential.
We will only collect, process and store information about you that we have openly
collected from you with your consent.
We get information from emails and online forms such as the new recruit form.
This Privacy Statement will tell you what information we collect from you. It
will also explain how we get the information and what we use it for. This
policy governs all pages hosted at www.oliversarmy.org and registration for this site.

Email

We receive your email address and any information you include from the emails you send us.
We need the email address and some information so we can reply and provide you with an
appropriate service (including responding to requests for information). If we are unable
to deal with your enquiry we will ask you for your permission before forwarding your
e-mail to another organization that might be able to assist you.
You should be aware that if you are using standard email to communicate with us,
we cannot guarantee it remains confidential whilst in transit. Please do NOT email
us with sensitive information such as your credit or debit card numbers and passwords.

The collection and storage of information

When you are on www.oliversarmy.org and are asked for personal information, you are
sharing that information with Olivers Army staff alone unless otherwise stated.
If you complete a form on the website, this might ask for personal details such as your name,
email address, address, telephone, mobile and fax numbers. We only ask for the information if
we need it, for example to send you information you have requested or send you communications
to keep you in touch with the latest news and events.
When an online form is filled in and submitted via the website, we keep the
information for future use and take steps to ensure that your information is
treated securely. It is automatically stored in a secure database administered
and used only by Oliver’s Army staff.
We may also use forms to allow you to subscribe to email newsletters. Your details
are held securely and newsletters distributed will not disclose your address unless
we specifically ask and are given permission. You will be able to unsubscribe from
the newsletter service at any time.
We never pass information on to outside agencies without your permission.

Update or delete the information we hold about you

The accuracy of your individual identifying information is important to us.
We are working on ways to make it easier for you to review and correct the
information that we hold about you. In the meantime, if you change email address
or if any of the other information we hold is inaccurate or out of date, please
email the recruitment centre at
recruitment@oliversarmy.org.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100%
secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information,
Olivers Army cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit
to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make
our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.
