Having watched her brother, Thomas, become leading junior show jumper,
Ellen made it a Sunday afternoon to remember for her family.
She produced an extraordinary round to take the Speed Horse of the Year
title on Henri De Here, who, despite a fence down, was still too quick
for the flying partnership of leading British rider of the show Geoff Luckett
and Marleen.
This was a welcome return to form for Henri, who was not at his best earlier
in the week.
"We had everything tested - a full MOT - and no one could find anything
wrong", said Ellen, whose next shows will be two Scandinavian World Cup
qualifiers.
