Gene Therapy

1st European AMN Board Meeting January 2013
AMN has largely been put on the back burner, with research and what little funding going to ALD.
In 2009, Olivers Army co-funded a project with the Myelin Project to research into and try and find a therapy for AMN. In 2009, Olivers Army also funded a second 2 year project which led to a clinical trial. In 2012/14 we are funding a third collaboration between Aurora Pujol and Troy Lund.
I would like to thank my friend Patrick Aubourg for organising and bringing together twenty of Europes Luekodystrophy scientists for the first round table meeting to look at the best way forward to find a treatment and cure for AMN.
We would like to thank all atending for your continued dedication & a final thank you to E.L.A.
